Sanford Children's Specialty Group and Sanford School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board eligible/board certified Pediatric Cardiologist to add depth to the existing program. Qualified candidates would join two other Pediatric Cardiologists in the Section of Cardiology.

This very busy and growing practice is particularly interested in physicians who share their philosophy to establish strong relationships with the patients, their families and relate well to referring physicians and colleagues. This is an opportunity to have a real impact in the delivery of healthcare in the community.  

The opportunity is best suited for strong clinicians who want to maintain an academic interest and aid in the development of regional pediatric services. Sanford USD Medical Center is currently in the architectural phase on a free standing children’s hospital. Construction will begin in May of this year with the opening in 2009. The intent is to greatly expand pediatric services, both medical and surgical, in order to serve the rapidly growing region of 800,000. We currently have 24 pediatric sub-specialists. There is a dedicated pediatric transport team, neonatal team, and a growing number of pediatric sub-specialists.
