Southwest Medical Center is searching for a BC/BE Interventionally trained Cardiologist to join the premier single specialty group practice in the South in 2009! This practice encompasses the full gamut of cardiology services, including interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular, endovascular, carotids, clinical trials, and all new Cath labs. An efficiently run practice maximizes patient volume and minimizes non-productive activity for the new physician. We offer a balanced practice with Nurse Practitioners to triage all night and weekend call, and a dedicated Hospitalist program = 100% consultative practice. The practice is located in a 42,500 sq. ft. office on the hospital's campus with all diagnostics, including nuclear and clinic based 64-Slice CT. A comprehensive financial package is being offered, including an incentive based income guarantee and benefits to include paid medical malpractice, health, life, disability, 401K and pension. Louisiana is a Tort Reform State (capped malpractice claims), which makes this a very physician friendly practice opportunity. The area offers convenient access to larger metropolitan areas such as New Orleans and Houston, wonderful culture, friendly people and is truly a wonderful place to call home. This is a great opportunity for a motivated physician to practice in the lovely area of central Louisiana.
