Mountain ViewRegional Medical Center is a 133 bed facility located in the City of Norton and Wise County, the mountainous southwest portion of the state. The facility has a primary service area of approximately 42,000 people. We are conveniently located approximately one hour from the Tri-Cities area which is comprised of Bristol Virginia/Tennessee, Kingsport, Tennessee and Johnson City, Tennessee.
This facility recently became part of the Wellmont Health System, a physician led regional system serving 22 counties in northeast Tennessee, southwest Virginia and southeast Kentucky. Wellmont is comprised of 13 owned and affiliated hospitals and includes more than 1,300 licensed beds. Wellmont employs more than 6,000 dedicated professionals and has nearly 1,000 affiliated physicians.
