Job Description

The Fairview Andover Clinic is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Geriatrician physician to join our multi-specialty practice. Providers have the opportunity to be part of a thriving outpatient practice. This group is very procedural oriented and encourages providers to utilize their skills and special interests. The Internal Medicine patient mix includes consults from specialists and family medicine physicians. The majority of adult patients are in the age range of 40-60 years old. Opportunity available to teach medical students, residents and advanced practice providers. Patient encounters per day average 15-20 depending acuity.

Practice Information

The Fairview Andover Clinic is one of the practices within the Fairview Medical Group dedicated to providing comprehensive, high quality medical care for the entire family, through all stages of life. The Internal Medicine physician will work collaboratively with our other onsite providers including: Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Allergy, ENT, Podiatry, Optometry, Pharmacy and Radiology. Many other subspecialists are available through extensive outreach programs. On-site services include: lab, x-ray, optical dispensary and pharmacy. The practitioners work a 4 or 4.5-day workweek with an expectation of 34 patient contact hours per week. The physicians admit their patients to the hospitalist service at Unity Hospital or Maple Grove Hospital. Physician leadership is valued, encouraged, and supported at all levels.

Location Description

Our Andover facility is located just north of Bunker Lake Boulevard on Hanson Boulevard in Andover and is located 25 miles north of Minneapolis. This clinic predominately serves people living in Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Ham Lake and Ramsey. Our facility is located 10 miles from Unity Hospital.
