Huntsville Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join four Board Certified Pediatric Intensivists on our Pediatric Critical Care Team. We are offering a very competitive salary, benefits package, and relocation allowance. Huntsville Hospital Women and Children has a 10 bed Pediatric ICU with 500 Pediatric ICU admissions per year located in North Alabama's only Women and Children's Hospital. Huntsville Hospital Women and Children was recently affiliated with St. Jude's Research Hospital and opened the nation's 5th Hematology/Oncology Clinic in January 2007.

Our services include:

*Our Pediatric Emergency Room is committed to the special emergency needs of children.  It is a 16-bed facility caring for young people from infants through 19 years of age.

*Our pediatric inpatient care is unmatched anywhere else in the region. We have a 40-bed family friendly nursing unit staffed with PALS trained clinical staff.

*The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is a 10-bed unit that cares for critically ill children. The unit is staffed by 4 BC Pediatric Intenstivists. It is also the only PICU between Birmingham and Nashville.

*Pediatric Surgery is designed specifically for children and adolescents with specialized pre and post-operative tracts.

*Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is North Alabama's only Level III Newborn Intensive Care. It is a 42-bed unit staffed by 3 BC Neonatologists.
