We are currently seeking qualified part-time Emergency Physicians for the Emergency Department at Northern Louisiana Medical Center, located in Ruston, Louisiana. The 15-bed Emergency Department has 7 private beds that provide emergency care to over 25,000 patients each year.

Northern Louisiana Medical Center (NLMC) has been serving the communities of north central Louisiana for more than 45 years. This 159-bed facility has more than 100 physicians on staff and 640 dedicated hospital employees. Including a cancer center, cardiac center, pediatric unit, and an inpatient/outpatient surgery center, NLMC is the leading healthcare facility in a 6 parish area. Most physician specialties are represented, with the exception of neurosurgery and cardio-thoracic surgery.

All physicians are partners of Northern Louisiana Kansas Emergency Physicians, LLP, a registered limited liability partnership. Physician partners are eligible for health, optical, and dental insurance at group rates. Candidates must be board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care Specialty with Emergency Medicine experience. ACLS and PALS are required for all physicians. ATLS is required for non-ABEM physicians only.
