Chair of Pathology/General Pathologist
Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center (CSEMC) is actively recruiting for a BC (AP and CP) Chair of Pathology/General Pathologist for a hospital based Pathology practice. The practice consists of 3 full-time Pathologists, as well as 2 physician assistants. The department processes over 12,000 surgicals, 22,000 cytologies – 20,000 GYN, 2,000 non-GYN cytologies, and 25 autopsies annually. This position will be 75% clinical and 25% administrative. Requirements: Qualified physicians must be Board Certified in AP and CP. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Section Chief, Lab Director, or equivalent is required. Demonstrated administrative skills required. Must have academic accomplishments to warrant a senior (Professor or Associate) faculty appointment. Experience in a system-wide environment preferred.
