Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE family practice physician to partner with eight family practice physicians and several professional extenders.
Highlights of the Practice
- No obstetrics required
- Call is approximately 1:7; to include every 7th weekend (Saturday-Monday AM)
- Hospitalist assisted night call
- Physicians work in teams of 2
- Privileges at one hospital--Samaritan Medical Center
- PA assists with hospital inpatient duties
- Newly constructed office space
- Base salary: $175,000
- Plus: WRVU incentives - potential to reach 90th percentile of national market salaries
- Extra compensation for teaching ($20.00 per hour)
- Educational/ student loan repayment $10,000/year
- Signing bonus $10,000

- Life insurance with a face value equal to annual base salary at one year anniversary
- Health insurance, individual or family 80/20 split on the cost

- 31 days of paid time off yearly - vacation, personal time, holiday time and short-term sick
- Long term sick leave in accordance with policy available for purchase

- 401-K program, available after 90 days of employment

Teaching Opportunities—SMC is affiliated with New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, ME, hosting medical students and interns. SMC is also accredited for Osteopathic Family Practice Residency Training and Internal Medicine Residency Training Programs.
