Elliot Health System has created a dedicated 4 room Pediatric Emergency Department and is developing a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Medicine staff. Candidates should be board certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or dual-trained in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine.

Elliot Hospital has a level II trauma designation and the Emergency Department sees nearly 55,000 visits annually with the anticipation of treating over 12,000 pediatric patients this year. The facility has a level III NICU and a thriving 17-bed inpatient unit. Many of the Pediatric subspecialties are represented in the facility and the area. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of an initiative to improve pediatric care in the state.
