King’s Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) in Ashland, Kentucky, is providing an outstanding opportunity for Intensivists. We are seeking critical care fellowship trained physicians (pulmonary, anesthesiology, internal medicine) to serve exclusively in our 24-bed Intensive Care Unit, as well as our eight-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
Our Intensivists earn a first-year guarantee of $350K, with second and third years geared toward WRVUs and incentives. As an employed physician, intensivists enjoy outstanding benefits (health, life, dental and vision) and a lucrative retirement program. Malpractice coverage also is provided. Relocation assistance is available, and signing bonus/student loan repayment is negotiable.
King’s Daughters intensivists work seven days on, followed by seven days off. Two intensivists cover the day shift (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), whiile nurse practitioners cover nights. Intensivists cover two nights of call during their week on.
