Valley Health Plan, a Physician Hospital Organization (PHO), is jointly owned by Rockingham Memorial Hospital and local physicians. VHP works closely with private physician practices to provide them with the resources and assistance they need to recruit new physicians to the area.

RMH Healthcare is a 238-bed, independent, not-for-profit community hospital located in the beautiful and historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. For nearly 100 years, RMH has delivered advanced medical care to its seven-county service area. On June 22, 2010, RMH opened its new, state-of-the-art hospital, located on a 254-acre site located in Harrisonburg. This new LEED Gold certified facility brings the latest in health and wellness to the community.
