Hazlehurst is located in Jeff Davis County right in the heart of Southeast Georgia. The community epitomizes the rural, farm county that is the backbone of the Southern United States. The hospital is located 2 hours West of Savannah and 26 minutes North of Alma, GA. Jeff Davis is an acute care center. All trauma cases are sent to Savannah Memorial Medical Center.

-12-48 hour max physician shifts (8:00 am to 8:00 pm/8:00 pm to 8:00 am)
-50 total/10 beds in ER
-Single coverage
Jeff Davis Hospital Offers:
-ED on-call room located in ED, equipped with bathroom, shower, and TV.
-Meals provided to physicians at no cost
-Attending physicians in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Family Practice, Anesthesiology, and Dentistry are on-call 24 hours a day
Requirements:
-Board Prepared/Board Certified in a Primary Care Specialty for positions at Jeff Davis Hospital.
-GA medical license, ACLS, and 6 months current ED experience are required
