UHS Physicians and Heritage Hospital in Tarboro, NC is seeking a BC/BE Med Peds Hospitalist to join its existing staff.  The team of six physicians and one physician extender provide hospitalist services for area practices.  Highlights of this opportunity include full benefits, malpractice coverage with tail, loan repayment, a signing bonus, and paid vacation.  Prefer schedule seven days on, seven days off, but willing to discuss alternative options.

UHS Physicians (UHSP) is a multispecialty physician group owned and operated by University Heath Systems of Eastern Carolina. Currently UHSP employs about 140 providers with a large focus on primary care, but employs several surgical specialties and cardiology as well. The organization is guided by an advisory council, comprised of physician leaders from throughout the region. This physician governance assures the mission of UHSP is physician focused. The group offers the infrastructure needed to manage a modern medical practice including processes for billing and collection, group contracting, electronic medical records and other technologies.
