Program Overview/Job Description:

• 7 on / 7off  block scheduling
• 15 shifts per month (some nights rotated through the entire group)
• 12 Hour Shifts
• Admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult)
• Coordinating with patient’s PCP, hospital, and/or health plan for all ancillary services related to inpatient episode and all discharge planning needs.
• Providing medical coordination and inpatient utilization management for surgical patients.
• Open ICU-Intensivists available for consultation
• Electronic Billing System
• No call

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• ABIM or AOBIM certification in Internal Medicine.
• License (or eligible) to practice in the respective state  
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of physician services documentation and coding compliance requirements
• Respect for financial decision making strategies
• Skill in physician recruitment and retention practices
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives, preferably with leadership responsibilities
• Eligible to work in the United States. No VISA sponsorship available
• Ability to work as a team member
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practice Clinical 80%/20% Administrative
