Meridell Achievement Center located 30 miles from Austin is recruiting a new Staff Child Psychiatrist to work with children and adolescents in a structured residential treatment center program. Position duties will include admission evaluations, treatment planning, treatment follow-up, family contacts and participation in medical staff meetings as assigned. Patients are seen on varied schedules depending on treatment needs. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC Child Psychiatrist. Interest and/or experience in working in a residential treatment setting with diverse diagnoses as well as neuro-behavioral treatment is a plus.

This is an employed position with the center. A competitive compensation package of salary, benefits and more will be offered. There is limited call and most is by phone.
